Maturity represents the relationship between concrete temperature and time. It is specified as a value, identified as the maturity index, that can be calculated from the recorded temperature history of the concrete using an equation.
The concrete maturity can be determined in real-time with Maturix™ using wireless concrete sensors. By establishing the relationship between the compressive strength and the maturity of a concrete mix beforehand, Maturix™ is able to give precise estimations of the in-place strength of the concrete during the hardening process.
